Hi. My name is Alejandro Barrera. I'm welder man since 1985. Searching info about a old welder generator of mine I find this web site. I hope can make new friends from the other side of Atlantic. This post is for to share a pictures of a welder generator HOBART MOD GW-222 assembled in a wisconsin engine T F. This machine was find it almost 5 years ago and now wish to all of you can see it. This welder machine was made in August 2 1954. In hobart brothers weld talk sent to me the tip. Can you believe it?

Thank you. It was a hard work because this machine when I fid it was a really scrap. I haven't pics of that days because I have no idea the reach of this project. Anyway I have so many testimonials of people who's seen it before an after

I enjoy restoring old stiff. Have two 30+ year-old beasts now. Was fun restoring them, but was easy as they are just fixed welders, very little mechanical. They cost almost nothing, but did take lots of time.

Untill now nobody has tell me if have one engine like this (I have 6 months searching for if somebody have one and no replay) Yes, this kind of restoration take so much time, but the results talk for themselves. I'm so glad and for this reason I decide to share my experience

It's a credit to your restorative skill and patience . I expect many more people have done , and will do in the future , renovate old machines to the standard that you have kindly exhibited on these pages .
