Thought i'd pop in and say hi to you all. I'm Mark and i'm into my VDubs. I have 2 Beetles and a camper which i need to start working on soon. So i'm sure i'll have a ton of questions for you when my welding goes haywire.

Welcome to the forum Mark,

We're not so far away. I'm based on your side of Bedford. Do you know a guy called Brian in Northampton with a split screen van? I'm hoping he'll turn up at Santa Pod on 4th September for our drag racing event (the more the merrier if you'd like to come along too).

I had a Beetle and a camper in my younger days. The Beetle had a patchwork floor and broke down every time I drove past Leeming Bar on the A1. Otherwise it was quite reliable. I loved the van - we took it around Europe. It's wonderful to be able to rest your elbows on the steering wheel.
