Hello everyone, i found a heuer front vise in the old forge factory here where i work, and im gonna do repair on it. dont have alot of photos yet but i just today, started cleaning it all up with a whire-disk or whatever those UFO looking whire puffs are called.
and thought i should share it with the forume, and maybe someone else have one old laying around and have some comments on them. the ones we use around the shop is so luse u could stick finger in between the lines -

And there is a vise here i dont know anything about, ive never seen it before and i cant seem to find anny information about it

im gonna put a link to the little story there is to it, its pretty uniqe u see, it has a spessial dubble rail thingy going on :P hope ittle feel like new when im done, and maybe invest in some new jaws, old forges really beat up the vises :P

, tok some photos of the vise today. more detailed and after cleaning it up
I allso went to my local paint/tool store and thay scanned the bottom plate there, where the vise was attached, and thay found the 90 % colour match,
Gonna get this paint tomorrow hopefully and see if i could get it painted and lubed, and then ill start making the stand for it
