I agree about the quality and content of Ride, but it is popular.
I have bought a few copies over the years for train trips that sort of thing; consistently below even mediocre. But free grips is a good offer if you need them.

I bought a year's subscription to Ride around ten years ago - think it was about £24 then. Came with a pair of Tuzo TG10 gloves which I wear when on my (pedal) cycle in the winter
