hope this is in the right place mods , i am about to try and learn to tig weld ,i have just bought a regulator and flow meter ,the argon is a side valve and the regulator is bottom connection ,can i switch the inlet to the regulator to the spare (plugged) side on the regulator or am i best just having the gauge flat and the flow meter vertical ,just trying to keep things neat and tucked out of harms way

i think ive a way to go
, didnt do the tungsten on the 3rd run "beginners luck",i guessed at the required cleanliness ,flow rate and the amps IM HOOKED 

anyway heres the results, all pieces started at the top working down
