Help with HV transformer installation

Hi all

I've had problems with my lincoln electric 255 tig plant. It has led to lincoln electric sending out a HV transformer. Looking at the wires I can figure out which way round the primary go but the secondary I'm concerned about. It doesn't seem to be clear on the new transformer which way round they should connect up to the spark gap assembly.
Any help is much appreciated!

Do you have any drawings or pictures of the old and new transformers?.

Not trying to be funny but why don't you just ask Lincoln?
They should be able to tell you how it goes as they've supplied everything, and if it then goes wrong you're better off having followed their instructions rather than ours.

If they're sending the parts out for you to fit, they should also send you the instruction on how to fit said part. That's a bare minimum!

Being AC, would it matter which way round the secondary is wired? Unless there are more than two wires.

As KemppiFrog inferred, doesn't matter which way around you connect either primary or secondary. Of course, if you didn't note which terminals the secondaries connected to, it's a different matter!

i assume its a different layout to the part it is replacing? otherwise is it not just a straight swap like for like?
