Help with cutting steel pipe

Hi I’m after some help please. I need to cut steel pipe from time to time and if I use a hacksaw it’s never straight what is the cheapest way of cutting steel pipe with a maximum diameter of 28mm with a 3 mm wall thickness please would it be a chopsaw for metal or is there a hand help cutter like you can use for copper pipe at all.

wrap a piece of tape round the pipe and use that as a guide.

Keep an eye out on eBay or Facebook for a used chopsaw. It's the easiest way, I got my evolution off Facebook for £50

Thank you everyone I went for one of these and there quite well made and do the job. I already had the angle grinder so saves extra tools lying around. Thank you for all of the advice for just under £20 I can’t complain

I’ve been meaning to buy or build some like that for years, for all those small section cuts that need a square end.

I like the one I have because it works on round bar, box, angle iron and probably other shapes... I keep a cheap grinder with slitting disc permanently attached so it's easy to move it and use it.

skateboard wheels in an adjustable frame so the pipe just sits on them put grinder on the pipe and just spin the pipe

A great accessory for a small grinder.
I purchased one from Lidl years ago and it has been quite handy. I even used it to make custom French drains out of PVC pipe to install behind my retaining walls.

I’ve just ordered one. For that price it’s hard not to.

It turned up today, and though I’ve not assembled it, I dropped the box when I took it from the delivery guy, as it was about four times heavier than I expected. That has to be a good thing.

It’s easy to put together as well I left the guard off as it seem to flimsy for me but the rest worked well
