I have an HILTI DAG125SE aka a red Bosch GWS10-125E
After 15 years of life the armature bearings have failed
On the gearbox side it has a 608LUV and on the collector (brushes) side it has a 607Z .
Both are from an unknown manufacturer (original ones ) ,no markings
So essentially one is shielded and one is sealed .
The one on the front is sealed and it essentially has little bit of play (it can stay there yet but since I'm here I'll replace both)
The rear one has got stuck .
I have two questions for you all...
In yours honest opinion
Manufacturer? I'm thinking to replace them with SKF
And what I should do ?
Should I use sealed bearings on both sides or use the same type of bearings,so sealed on the front and shielded on the rear?
