Put my old Transit van for an mot the other day and it failed due to corrosion on door sills within 30cm of structural mounts. Needs 3 patches welded on. Can anyone do it or hire me their mig welder for a good back-hander as garage prices and mig hire prices are extortionate? Need to re-mot before tue 30th march or I loose my original mot payment. Thanks.

The pleasure was all mine. Finished tidying up today with a bit of body filler then the 4" angle grinder and slapped on some Halfords underseal, looking quite good. Partial mot booked for tuesday. BTW Iain, I used to use a brake adjuster for opening and closing the valves on my bottles too, forgot to say. Lol.

Ahh difficult Q? Iain. I will now delve deeper my search for a workshop, if I get one I will be going back up to Ork for things but will probably wait until summer hols when younger daughter is off school. Surprisingly, I set the trip thing on the clock today after getting fuel and it has done 30 miles.
