Help to weld chainsaw exhaust

Hi forum. I live in Whitchurch Shropshire and havea delicate mig job I need doing.Could anyone please call me for a chat? it's an exhaust silencer on a big old chainsaw.

Here's some photos of the complete saw and the exploded parts diagram. Photo of damaged item will follow tomorrow.
The part number 17 top right corner has burnt off where the bolt hole is.

Not sure exactly what I am looking at, but I am near wrexham if you want to pop over

I'd leave as is, bolt it up with what you have left, cant see it reducing saw performance. As for noise, you should not notice this, due to operator wearing ear defenders.

I haven't posted a photo of the damaged item.the hole created by the missing flange piece causes exhaust gases to burn through chain brake lever onto operator's hand.

Sounds like a TIG job if the steel is thin.

Maybe too much vibration? Plus there is a loose pipe inside the box

Without actually seeing the damage it's more difficult to assume best process method but from the sound of it a bl00dy good clean up and a spot of low amp tig should be delicate enough to takle it. As per wendelspanswicks offer I'm happy for you to box and send it. But I need to see the damage before hand to give you a quote. As you say at £100+ it's worth repair.
