Help, SIP Gasless Not feeding wire

Hi All

Hope you can help, I'm currently restoring a Renault Alpine, and last night was making my new door pilars, anyway, Welded fine and all ok, then went to use again 2 minutes later and pulled the trigger and nothing!

The rollers aren't turning when trigger pressed, have dropped the wire off and still nothing so I know its not the liner etc, have took gun apart and all connections in there ok.

You can't hear a thing when trigger pressed.

Any Ideas for a quick fix so I can carry on with the car today please

If there is no click from the relay when you pull the trigger, it might be the trigger switch gone or simply the fuse in the plug.

trigger switch is just a mechanical contact, have checked that, and the fuse is ok as unit powers on.

work the power settings switches in and out a few times and try it.

Presumably there is no supply to the wire feed motor from the wire feed pcb?

If there is no relay clicking, this suggests the torch switch circuit is not being completed, as said, or there is no power to that circuit, so check this.

There may be no incoming supply to the pcb, so check that too.

If there is incoming supply, it's possible there is a problem on the wire feed pcb.
