Help Portamig TIG with no HF start

This is my AC - DC squarewave 250 which has lost its HF start.
I seem to have in the depths of my memory some mention of a set of points or a spark gap which may need cleaning in these welders. Can anybody help or give me any clues. I have been around looking for loose connections etc and it seems ok.

Hi. If the machine will still strach start in dc tig and every thing else works OK then it will be most likely the tig control and HF PCB wihich is the top right PCB looking at the picture. I work for tecarc who produced that machine. PM me if you want further help, I can either supply a new PCB or it would be cheaper to repair it.

Check the plug, socket, wires, PCB tracks, front and back, use a magnifier to look for dry or cracked joints, which you can resolder.
Have a good look at those things then try again.
