Help needed

Hi I am new to welding and basically have a citreon saxo project and it needs quite a bit of welding so decided instead of spending a fortune on someone to come out and weld it I should try and get a welder and try giving it a bash myself now my only problem is I am very picky when it comes to welding my mate welded my car and left the welds and can clearly see its been welded so I want to try and get my welds nice and neat to grind back the welds can anyone give me any tips or advice have never used a welder in my life now I only just got a gasless mighty mig 100 it may be crap but its all I can afford right now any help would be much appreciated

Step back have a coffee.

First thing to do is practise, practise and then practise some more.
The welder will do a passible job.
The trick is prep work and welding practise.

Start by reading all you can on the welder and any tips.
Then practise.
Throw up some images on here and then read the comments, good and bad.

There are some dam good people here who will be able to help.

Know your limits and expand them, after welding practise.

We all started somewhere.
We are all learning.
