Hi I've had my Clarke 230te welder for a while now and not really had many problems with it. Until today the wire has stopped feeding at first I gave it a good bang and it worked for a few minutes at a time but now its stopped working completely I've tested the wires running to the feed motor and theres no voltage at all.I've searched the net for people having similar problems and everything points to the PCB be just removed it and there no visible damage please help I can't live with out my welder

the fact you gave it a clout and had some success could point to the relay contacts going bad, test the relay first, the feed wires to the motor will be dead until the welding transformer is powered up as that's where the motor power comes from, put the circuit board back in and listen for the relay clicking then test it is actually supply power to the welding transformer
