Help needed, movano wont start..

I know nothing about Renaults, but is it one of the vehicles that loses its settings if the battery is disconected? My Transit camper does & it takes about 1/4 hour of driving to reset itself. It warns you this in the handbook that it reverts to basic settings & sorts itself out as you drive. When I've had the battery off its not the instant starter that it normally is, but then sorts itself out.

If you have an android phone you can download the torque app off the play store this will let you connect and read/clear codes.it connects with bluetooth depends what odb dongle you ordered mind ...

Ok, Good news , yes it was the sensor but it wasnt faulty, unlike my ivecos these clip in with some sort of spring clip, he got the obd reader fault showed sensor, now I had said on mine you have to set the gap quite accurate so there should some adjustment, well he had another look and found an inspection plate, took it of and could see the clip hadnt seated correctly and was now obscuring the end of the sensor, so took it out refitted ,well at this point I could say properly, and bobs your uncle,sorted.
So all those that said sensor give your selves a beer and say I told him!! Thanks guys its appreciated, so the £21 OBD reader was and is good value tool to use. Thanks Arther

Thankyou, yes I am on a van forum re my vans and I get ticked right of when you guide someone through a fault and they dont have the decency to reply ye its fixed and or say thankyou, which when the next guy comes along with same fault means he hasnt a clue wether it worked or not, to me thats selfish.Arther
