Help me put a value on a motor please

I'm going to be selling this and I have no idea what it's worth.
3 phase 7.5 HP. Tested and working.

Well being as very few people have access to a 3 phase supply at home, a new 3ph/7.5 motor can be had for 250/280 quid from Fleabay.....I reckon whatever someone is willing to offer you (0.99 start on Fleabay?)....personally I'd charge you to take it away.....you might get a motor rewind place to take it as spare parts/rebuild unit and they might give you a few quid if your lucky...basically scrap value.

In that case it can go to the scap yard with the van load of other scrap i have to take along today. I certainly wont be paying anybody to collect it.

its ideal for a small rotary converter,i wouldnt scrap it yet

allrite for someone with 3 phase or a large 380 /415v converter supply stick it on ebay. might get a few shillings for it

Your market is limited however would be a good start for a rotary converter

Shame to scrap it, brook Crompton are very good motors. They will out live any of the foreign stuff.

It avoided the scrap yard today, since i'll have at least another 2 or 3 loads to go over the next week. not sure what to do with it..

these big burly motors are getting decent prices at scrappys,weigh it in if nobody wants it

I would expect to get £30-£50 for that, it's just a matter of finding someone that wants one!
