Help me find replacement hall effect sensor

I'm trying to help a guy at work. He has a e-bike he uses for travelling to and from work that's suffered a collapsed bearing. A piece of the bearing cage has torn the legs off one of the hall-effect sensors so now he has no drive to the wheel. Replacement wheels are out of stock so I want to replace the sensor itself.





I'm going to attempt to scrape away enough potting to get a fine solder joint onto the sensor but if that fails I will replace the sensor. Trouble is I can't find the exact one but I am sure that any of several types would do if only I knew a bit about electronics.

So, just in case I mess up the solder repair can anyone suggest a compatible replacement for the sensor shown in the pics below?

I have a packet of A3144's spare.

I wouldnt mess about trying to solder broken leads. I've tried similar. It might work but chances it wont last long.

Well, I've effected a half-reasonable repair by scraping away some of the casing, soldering the leads butt-end on to the sensor contacts and potting the whole lot in 2-part epoxy. I also used the epoxy to stabilise the circuit board to try to give the lash-up repair half a chance.



1 layer of epoxy here then another afterwards.



This should get him going for the time being whilst I source a replacement sensor or until the whole part becomes available to buy.

Check out Green Bike kit, I needed a new motor housing and they were great, its based in china but fastish postage.... and good prices

Thanks, I meant to come back and round this thread up but I've been spending my evenings trying to find a new car for my daughter.

I did manage to solder the legs on successfully but the hall sensor was dead (either from th original trauma or from the heat of soldering). I got some 41F hall sensors from Amazon next-day and fitted a replacement, the motor works perfectly now.
