Help leaky roof

A while ago we had a big repair done on our warehouse roof. It is a typical asbestos sheet roof over a steel frame.

Sadly over our offices it didn't fix the problem.
The work needed doing anyway though.
It turns out the drips are coming through the hook roof bolts then tracking across the steel frame.
The roofers said the bolts will need cutting out and replacing with new washers. The problem is getting them back!

I spoke to another roofer who said that just slapping some acrypol over them would work.

Any ideas? It would make removal later on a nightmare but a cheap fix hopefully.

Crap roof anyway.....
if u can afford it, just replace the whole roof with insulated roof panels...(steel)
It's also tax deductible...!!!!!
Or just blob it up with a decent silicone sealer, Sikkens or Hilti...
Please use roofing ladders, that roofing material is an accident waiting to happen...

Hook bolts are easy to replace tower up the inside,roof ladder then new bolts/ waterproof washers,if you can afford it scissor lift in place of tower.

I’d ask some very very serious questions of anyone proposing to cut bolts in AC roofing.

Also check their PI and ELCI

And then make sure you too are insured to the hilt

Expressions along the line of don’t touch with barge pole and take a wide berth spring to mind

I wont go on industrial asbestos roofs without underside netting or staging...Funny enough i knocked a massive job back today of the same nature but 60 ft high was the deal clincher (or not i should say)..An hour later i set this job up for next week,zero risk to my men and more money

If the bolts are cut from underneath where they hook onto angle iron then wouldn't they be ok?

I waited 7 years for the landlord to fix the roof. In the end I had to sort it myself and withhold rent!
How they get away with it I will never know.
I feel sorry for them - they are broke apparently - poor bloke only has a Mclaren

No need for ladders. The bolts are along the bottom edge just above the major roof channel that they did replace. Quite safe to walk along it.
