Help identifying this SIP Welder Part II

Another ancient machine here - I think it's an SIP Ideal of sorts, but I have no idea of the power - I'm guessing about 200A or thereabouts.

Any ideas what it might be?

It seems to be a good old machine, certainly no shortage of power, the only problem is that it's a bit big!

On the top knob, there are 3 settings. The centre one is obvoiusly for 'normal' welding, and the left position is a timer (for stitch/plug welding I guess), but I'm not sure about the right hand setting. Just idle curiosity really, as I don't think I have ever tried it. I'll go and have a play in a minute to see what it does!

I might sell it soon, so any idea of its value?

This is a SiP Ideal machine approximately 25 years old. I've scanned the relevant page from the manual for you, you simply need to measure the width and match it up with the one in the attachment.

Blimey what a massive case for a modest sized welder!

Any idea how much it's worth?

We have no idea how much it is worth, we only have the specifications for it. Try searching ebay for past sales to get an idea of its worth.

Yep - got that one sussed now thanks.

I'd never really looked at what it did, but when I had a play it all became clear!
