Help identifying electronic component

Numatic WVD572 vacuum has gone bad
what I think may be the motor noise suppressor has a burnt out component on it

Sods law id# gone four terminals on the track side of the board

From what I remember it was still working but letting out a bit of smoke when it went

Any ideas on identifying this?

I'm confused by the resistor, diode and electrolytic, if it's part of the noise suppression. More like a relay.

Is it a two-speed machine?

OK, it's the delay start module, pretty certain that it's going to be a relay, in that case.

The -24 leads me to suspect it may be a 24V version.

OK, it's the delay start module, pretty certain that it's going to be a relay, in that case.

It's a single speed machine with twin motors and no transformer in there with a 240v supply

when its off the board I am going to rip/cut it open to have a butchers inside of it

The suggestions so far look promising for getting it back into action

If the pcb is not badly damaged then get an upgraded relay i.e. more amps and fit it. Check the diode and resistor and replace the capacitor whilst you've got it out
Check the motor or rest of circuit is not going faulty and drawing more current just in case.

Note the pcb sold is an upgaded version so maybe a design shortcoming in the pcb.....probably needed a higher rated relay.......
