help exchanging empty co2 for a full

hi been looking all over the forum on this but can find any where in bedfordshire to exchange my empty co2 bottel for a full one

its a pub style one

and the test expired in 2004 so it would beed re testing would that cause any prolems ?

My local pub gets it's refills from Northampton. Luton/Dunstable are worth a look too. There's nothing in Bedford that I'm aware of. Yellow pages is worth a shot.

For myself I'm using BOC (also in Northampton). Probably would be cheaper for me to use the welding supplies place in Dunstable for Argon/CO2 mix.

Looks like Air Products. I'd not realised they had a dealer down there. Probably they'll like to rent out their own bottles, but well worth a phone.

go and talk to your local pub landlord im sure you could sort a deal out with him
failing that look for a spirit merchant stockist a lot of them also sell beer and co2 bottles just tell them you need it for your barrel of beer you have if you tell them the real reason they wont sell you 1 or look for a company that offer cellar services

as snooper said is best bet. problem with getting into cylinders from boc, air products, linde etc is they all charge cylinder rental, which for diy use normaly costs more than the gas usage.

yer i no i try to stay well a way from renting / browing

deposits and buying best way cant get ya sellf stuck in **** position then

just been reading about some people useing fire extinguishers any one on anying about that ??

i get mine from a landlord he doesnt charge me (although i do offer) but if he did the gas would be a tenner if he needs welding i do it dirt cheap fo him

I use old part used up CO2 fire extinguishers with good results. Some need inverting due to a dip tube allowing liquid CO2 out if kept upright. This causes excessive freezing of the regulator. Not as nice as Argoshield to use but alot cheaper.
