Help connecting to big bottle

Hi, new to the forum!

Ive been trying to connect a big bottle to the clarke pro90 mig welder.
I have the bottle, and this:

However, from what ive read about the white tube that comes from the machine has a push/pull connector that has to be removed? I couldnt release it and may have broke it. Soooo im a little stuck on what it is I need to do to get it running!

The white tube pushes into the connector at the end of the hose on the regulator.

If you can't get the white tube off the old regulator, just cut it with a sharp knife.

So the white tube just pushes into the new tube and it seals ? No need for any connections ?

The new reg has a push-fit connector with an O-ring that seals on the tube.

Just tried it and I am amazed! I had no idea on how those fittings worked and I was sat there for ages looking at wondering how to get the old connector off and what to do with it.
