Help!!! Clarke pro90 not working

Well i feel like a t**t. A guy came to buy my welder today and the ******* wouldnt turn on!! I cleaned it a few weeks ago and it worked.

Its getting power to inside the welder (i know as i got a electric shock when i touched the switch) but as far as i could tell the switch wasnt ligthing up..(im sure it used to?)

Any ideas? i havent got a clue what to check or where to start?

Think the switch only lights up if theres a problem with the welder.
You sure it wasn't working?

Oh right. Well i was pressing the trigger and nothing was happening at all.

I didnt have time to really check anything as i was in a rush. I opened the side up and got a little elec shock so i know its getting power to the switch but havent got a clue how to check the rest really.

Ill open the handle up tomorrow and make sure that looks ok

Wire speed knob could have been knocked to its slowest setting?

Nope tried that its not stuck. hopefully its something in the torch but i dont really know
