hi guys and gals,
having bought my 1st mig(1st welder come to that), i'm now skint but i've been made an offer i can't refuse. i can have one of two masks. 1st is an esab eyetech, and the 2nd is a servore 4000v. same spec, 9-14 instant dark with adjustable delay to light.
i'm just learning and realise these are expensive, quality bits of equipment, but i value my eyesight, so will buy the best i can stretch to. they're both used but in good working order. i like the look and feel of the servore one better, but its more expensive and if you guys don't recognise it, will i get bits when i need them? there are plenty of references here to the esab, but i can't find a single thread on the servore.
any thoughts?
