As a newbie to this forum and to welding I thought it only polite to introduce myself, so hello all.
I found you lot by accident and am glad that I did, it's nice to know that you are not the only one with problems.
I was gong to build a trike and decided that I better learn how to weld, not fancying the frame coming apart at 100mph, I enrolled on a Pracrical Welding course at the local tech, if you are thinking about it do it, the skills range from mine (next to none0 to experienced welders doing codings. Like this forum everyone is very helpfull and you will learn more than by trial and error as one who tried the trial and error route and gave up I should know.
I have added some pictures of the soon to be lost garage, we are moving house and I am going to lose my wonderful garage until I have finished building the new one.

Also added a couple of pictures of my first propper project, I fabricated a tail piece for one of the bikes, comments would be appreciated, also some advice, I keep getting pin holes and small indentations which I have filled and groubd down but I would kike to avoid tham all together, any thoughts.

I have rambled on too much but have probably cured your insomnia.
Nich to meet you,
Peter
