Hello all,

I've enjoyed reading posts on this forum over the years, have dabbled with stick and mig welding but very much a novice and hoping to change that. I would like to be able to weld proficiently, for car repairs and general fabrication and I'm sure I will have lots of questions. Borrowed a Clarke 151 for a while and have a mighty heavy Oxford stick, having a shot of an R-tech 180 soon. Based south west Scotland. Got some welding on a Transit to get practiced for, couldn't find a landrover to fix up so went with the next best option of a ford........
