found this site while browsing for welding helmets, found it very interesting so i thought i'd join
i am currently trying to get my vw camper on the road - if you ever need some practice at welding one of these will give you more than enough

Eternal Optimist has posted a few photos of his bus - http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=5078 . Looks like they can be a lot of work.

I managed to sell my old bus before it needed a lot of welding. The previous owner had fitted a secondary floor underneath! Presumably to hide the welding he hadn't done.

It'll be good to read about your work.

hopefully mines not too bad, although have replaced all the outriggers,both inner and outer sill's,inner top-front and bottom panel,lower front panel,outer front panel and various cosmetic panel's still more top go..... but not as many as this guy's http://www.vwkd.co.uk/bb/viewtopic.php?t=88
