Hello I'm looking for training in Cornwall/Devon

I've messed about with an arc welder before but I really want to get some proper training and learn how to weld properly. There's a fair bit of work going round my way, that and now that there's two Land Rovers in the family being able to weld is almost mandatory..

I'm starting at the bottom so the choice of courses is pretty extensive. But I plan to go far with this as a career and so want to start off right. Can anyone tell me which way to go please? I'm 31 so normal college courses are out. Thank you.

Evening clasess are the way to go really. Many on here including me have gone to night classes and got their City & Guilds MIG TIG MMA and even Oxy ace. They do them in levels 1, 2, and 3. Try asking at your local college for your nearest place.

where in cornwall are you? as i know of a college that does welding courses.

I'm in Launceston. Evening classes sound handy although I'm almost too busy, it's taken me four days to get back on here..

try cornwall college group, i dont know whether they do evening courses but worth a try.
