Hi, I'm based on the Isle of Wight and run my own vehicle repair shop. Basically will work on anything that will fit through the door from a chain saw to a JCB.
I'm no expert when it comes to welding but I get by.
I currently run a Sealy 180 Supermig as my main welder, an older Sealy 180 as a backup, using straight CO2 most of the time but I do have Argoshield Light if I want to do a 'tidy' job, an Inverter Arc for heavy stuff, and recently purchased a cheap DC TIG to have a practice with. I'd really like to be able to weld my own stainless stuff being a boat owner, but haven't really mastered the knack yet!
I've been a background 'watcher' on the site from time to time but thought I'd join in.
Jay.
