hello from county durham

hello there from the lovely land of county durham up here in the north east of england. i have just aquired a landrover and by my previous experience with landrovers i will need to requaint myself with welding. i have previously owned a stick welder but i have some work planned for the landrover later this year (including fabricating a bespoke exhaust) so i think it is time i get a Mig. so i may be posting some bleeding obvious questions etc in the future, looks like a very good helpful site.

Welcome to the forum and do post questions if you get stuck. Otherwise it would be interesting to see progress. Made an exhaust system myself using pre-bent stainless tubes from Millner Off-Road (Derby I think but they do mail order).

The January issue of "Practical Performance Car" magazine has an article on exhaust design written by my friend Ralph that's got quite a lot of sound stuff in it.
