Hi guys,
I started welding only 3 months ago. I am taking weekly Tig welding classes in the evening.
After looking for info and reading hundreds of reviews online on tig welders (How many freaking brands are out there???
), I finally saw the light and bought an old Kemppi Master 2200 Tig welder. A simple machine, with no AC nor pulse function, but a good enough machine to start my welding adventure.
After buying a bottle of Argon, I now need to add a 380V socket and some extra ventilation to my work shop, in my basement. Then I will be ready for my first welds at home. Woohoo!
In the meantime, I am looking for my first clamps/squares/magnets to buy, for squaring and alligning my first (mainly square tubing) projects. (Also with this, hundreds and hundreds of different clamps!!
)
I will open my first real forum topic on that subject now...
Thanks for creating this forum and having me!
