Hi All
Have just purchased my first welder(second Hand) for a Triumph Spitfire rebuild I am Attempting
I have a Kamanchi Platinum 185a - if anyone has any thoughts on this welder please share them,
I could also do with a copy of the owners manual if anyone has one please
wheres the best place for spares etc. Really any info on this welder will be appreciated.

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum .
Spitfire eh? Great little cars, thinking of getting one myself. I can't comment on that welder other than the fact it appears to have a very nice range on it, it goes down to 25 amps which is something you don't come across very often, usually 'automotive' type machines start at 30A, it also goes up to 170A so it will handle everything on your spitfire plus more.
Spares-wise, it could possibly take standard tips, shrouds and liners meaning any welding supplier will have them in stock.

Hi all thanks for the replys. Have been on holiday for a week so sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
The Spit is a bit of a mess and has been sat in a field for the past 6-8 years, will post some piccys over the weekend. I will post them in the Projects section.

Yeah it should take standard tips & shrouds as its fitted with a Euro Torch!!
