Hi my real name is Roger, I live in south Somerset, I work on a Oil Terminal
and see plenty of welders welding, they make it look so easy
well I purchased a wolfweld turbo mig 105 (gas) so far it has worked very well
but I want to use it more with gassless fluxed 0.8mm wire, The wire fits ok
but I believe the polarity has to be reversed, currently the Gun is possitive
and the clamp is negative, does this need reversing, any help would be
welcome. I look forward to learning more.

Do you need to use the welder in windy conditions?

If not I would stick with the gas, gasless wire is very expensive

Result

I reversed the polarity so the gun is negative this made welding thin metal
< 1mm much better, there was less punch through, does this make any sense
