Hello, I'm from the Isle of Wight and primarily joined for advice on car welding etc. I bought a 1988 MR2 last year and although it is a great car, being Japanese the panels are paper thin and tend to rust a great deal more than I'd like.
The problem I have is although last year me and Dad patched up the driver side rear section of the sill, the opposite side is now shot and failed the MOT due to it being within a foot of a drop link. We had some BOC bottles but they ran out and after calling round to places on the island nobody will refill them without us having an account with them of some sort. (Actually we were told that the bottles are supposed to be rented...Dad's had them for about 15 years though without renting!)
So we decided to do what we didn't want to do and buy one of those little white disposable SIP bottles from Halfords, the only thing is that it does not fit the regulator we have, the thread on the bottle is too small for the regulator. Does anybody have an idea of where we could get hold of an adaptor for it?
Thanks,
Jamie
