Hello All, newbie from the South but living in Middlesbrough/Teesside.

Hey, I'm an App developer learning carpentry and now just starting out learning to mig weld (gasless) on a Simder 4050 pro* and doing some plasma cutting on it, too. I'm PPE'd up the nines, turns out welding is hard and sometimes pretty scary! Already covered myself in a volcano of plasma off-shoots (so glad I had added a hood to the back of the mask!) and had some sort of flashback into the mig nozzle (melted the little holes a bit, but seems OK). Got a sunburn on my elbow, and holes in my socks. Getting there, though!

* bought thinking it had wirefeed and amps on separate dials, but it doesn't, still works well though.
