Well after a post in the 'Brew Room' I though why dont I see what I can do with the little gas kit. As you can see, heavy duty thick steel here
0.10mm thick Tuna cans had to be fabricated together.
Gas torch adjusted, tins clamped together, lap joint ready for welding. Do you think I will get enough penetration?
Welded the whole lot, very carefully as it was easy to blow holes. The combined thickness of the two sheet is 0.20mm welded using the micro torch
A tiny 2.0mm wide weld bead
And I finished with this as a thanks to Mig-Welding UK
