I want to get my hubs apart so that I can blast and paint them, but there's a ring that holds the bearing and it needs a special tool. I tried using a large pin wrench but it just bends. Any ideas on some generic or universal tool that could get this job done? I don't mind investing in tools so long as they will serve future purposes but I don't want to spend £50 on a Suzuki tool that will never get used again.
I could fabricate a tool for this but maybe there's a quicker solution.
