Having withdrawl symptoms due to have no parcels arriving, so ordering a load of stuff to make sure the month is full of deliveries.

I also need some heatshrink.

So, what are the common sizes?

Mainly automotive, and maybe the odd 2.5 or 4mm that’s been nicked. I’ll probably end up getting some heatshrink crimp connectors at the same time too.

I use a lot of 3.2 adhesive, 9mm adhesive and 19mm adhesive, all 3:1, we buy it in 50m spools from farnell/rs for work. I find those sizes cover a lot of cable csa

I got a cheap kit of 1mm to 10mm from Amazon, the 2-5mm gets used the most.

Hot melt glue heatshrink is especially good for automotive work, or other areas where you value a seal more than getting back in to it!

I picked a box of various size shrink up from Aldi for £2.99 before Christmas. I tend to use more of the smaller sizes for car and bike work.

I've been using these heat shrink solder sleeves on the quad this week, really loving them, get a solid joint and it heat shrinks it to keep the mud off. They aren't exactly the cheapest things out, but my soldering sucks and I prefer a neater job than electrical tape!
