Heated Vests.

Hello all.

I bought a relatively cheap heated USB Gilet / Vest a free years back and ready to buy a new one for this winter.

Anyone have a heated vest they can recommend?.

I have 2 big Anker USB battery packs so Ideally would like to use those if possible.

I have a Milwaukee fleece as well but the vests work better under my overalls.

I bought a XXXL one off eBay. Tag said XXXL but I reckon more like M and no way would it fit me ! Just be wary of same if buying "sight unseen" / can't try on for size.

A lot of the recommendations were for bike gear but they tend to use proprietary batteries so can be expensive. Most of the tool brands do their own using their 12v batteries, so if you have some of their 12v tools that might be an option. I ended up buying a cheap one off amazon for £12 (no longer available) and am more than happy with it. If going the cheap option amazon is probably best as the fit can vary depending on brand and returns are easy.

OH has one from Amazon, she loves it, comes with power bank that fits in inside pocket. Lasts about 2-3 hours on max....she usually has it on medium or max.

Lot of trouble with the power bank due to cracked solder joints on USB connector....easy fix and seller supplied a replacement anyway.

I think hers was £80 but nothing to indicate it was any better than a cheaper one (I think women's carry a premium anyway)

Costco had some in store (Stevenage) yesterday, I didn't look at the price as I wasn't in the market for one, but they are also available online, I'm sure they are cheaper in store.
