Do,s any body have recommendations on firms that could manufacture some hardened ,ground steel pins . Preferably in Essex or East Anglian .the pins are approximately 4 1/2 " long 1 1/2" in diameter with a head on little end pins on a Traction Engine

Hi Paul could you not just go to a Does and get them.
Horner and Wells a proper old school engineering firm went from chelmsford some years ago now. I'm sure with a google you could find one or two engineering firms in the essex area.
