Heat resistant hose ?

What's better at withstanding heat (and boost pressure)
I need to buy some 5mm/6mm i.d hose, to be used for a turbo wastegate so its likely to get very hot as its going to have to run very close to an exhaust and manifold.
Am I better off getting a metal over braided hose of some sort, or use plain rubber or a silicone type ?

A bit of quality silicone vacuum hose will be fine, that's what I have on mine.

My turbo outlet silicone joiner almost rests upon my manifold with no issues, silicone hose is tougher than you think.

Petrol makes it a bit soft however...

Thats because petrol has 10% ethanol in it now and that stuff melts lots of rubbers and plastics.

Now that the fuel point has been mentioned, how well does the silicone hose hold upto diesel? Been wondering if that stuff would be any good for using on the short return line from the injectors to the pump.
