Looking at getting Titon heat recovery system fitted to my house. Anyone got one and have any feedback on it please?

Dont have one but main element of the system is a heat wheel. Basically a circular duct split in two. The wheel is composed of thin sheets (usually metal). One semicircle of the wheel sits in the outgoing air & the other in the incoming.
The wheel slowly rotates bringing the warmed wheel into the incoming air, thereby transferring heat between outgoing & incoming.
Had some experience of them on industrial boilers to preheat combustion air but the exhaust gas was 450 DegC & resulting combustion air approx 270 DegC. As with most heat ransfer, efficiency is affected by difference between incoming & outgoing temps. Wouldn’t have thought there was enough temp difference in a domestic system to be very effective..

Erm... never heard of a heat wheel one
I've seen a few in person and they just use a standard exchanger, incoming/outgoing separated by sheets of ali.
They work well... if your house us very air tight... not much point if it isn't... maybe best yo have an air tightness test done first?

This is an industrial unit but domestic versions are available, now you can say you’ve heard of them.

I've been looking at doing this too, I've been looking at Nuaire which looks pretty good. Like you I like the idea of fresh air pumped into bedrooms.
Nuaire are quoting 95% recovery and they also have a 100% bypass mode for summer.
The prices don't look that bad until you start adding up all the bits.

Indeed. Only time ive been involved with them was when I was restoring farm houses and we framed internally and sealed the building completely.

It’s going to be quite expensive but as long as it works I won’t mind. The summer cooling (just pump cooler air from outside in) should help take the edge of room temp in summer.

Fitted an early type in the house we live in. We built in 1989.
It is not Passivehaus tight by any means, but the trickle vents are all shut and I tried to seal wall perforations with foam as I followed the builders around. Infiltration rate testing was not a readily available service in those days.
We never have any condensation. Even in the bathrooms.
We never wake up with a mouth like the inside of a Turkish wrestler's jock strap.
We never have lingering cooking, cleaning, laundry, painting odours.
SWMBO never uses 'air fresheners' to mask odours.
An unexpected bonus - inlet air filtration. Middle son has asthma and suffered terribly with hayfever. His symptoms cleared up as soon as he came indoors. This didn't happen in other people's houses.
It's one of those things that you don't notice - until you go to a house without it or it breaks down.
Thoroughly recommend the concept, cannot comment on the manufacturer beyond saying that they have come a long way in 30 years, especially with fan and motor efficiency and sensors.
I have been tempted to buy a cheap second hand room air conditioner and plumb it into the fresh air distribution ducts but never get enough roundtuits together in the same place at the same time.

I fitted a Baxi heat recovery ventilation system about 15 years ago when I had the house in bits. I think the division was bought out by Vent Axia.
Worked really well, but needs renewing or repairing now, fans have gone a bit weak.
Only mistake I made was venting condensate directly outside so I get huge icicles in winter and sometimes blocked condensate drain. Now routing it to an internal drain in a nearby ensuite.
