heads up, Granite surface plate

For any of you boys into scraping, A 3ft x 2ft granite surface plate on Homeworkshop, advert no 32802 cheap as chips at £25, too far for me & nowhere to put it otherwise i would have ripped the blokes arm off! No connection to advertiser.

I have this in the back of my car now!
Hell of a job getting it through the house and into the back of the car on my own.
Looks like an excellent piece of kit.
It will do as my head stonr if nothing else.

In fairness I didn't carry it.just walked it, getting it into the car was the trick
If I tried that at home the wife would kill me.

My father in law .used to carry big bottles of acetylene around the site in front of him, now he was someone I never fell out with..
But he was a totall gentleman. a true gentle giant with nothing to peove
