a winborg disc dosnt it has loads of other drivers with the disc for both intel and amd

for the older systems like xp that are still in use today, a winborg xp disc is an advantage to many users the only issue that still stands is the gcard driver but there is still copys of it on the net.

windows 7 is also the same the best disc to have is a winborg disc it is better than the windows legit disc but you will still have to find the gcard drivers

have you ever used the discs, the one thing i will say with bart of borg and sop there discs have been always legit and contain no other malware within them and have always been virus checked.

saying that the disc is a stripped down version of windows with the junk removed which then is filled up with many drivers for users boards and has been used worldwide by users on many forums out there

the second vid which has only been posted to show it installed, is the extra programs you can install if you want

yes it might have been abandoned but thats due to windows 10 so i kinda know more than what you know about the scene

whilst im also saying theres other versions of operating systems that can still be run if users still need to run there software in older legacy software dosnt matter if its xp or windows 7 a winborg disc will have most of what you want upon it

what I fail to understand is why not only do microsoft withdraw support for windows 7 but HP also delete the drivers for the laptop from their website. I had decided to just reinstall windows & as the program I want to use does not run in Windows 10 on my HP DV6-3150. But it seems I can no longer do that even. I had decided to spend a 150 to 200 to get a working windows 10 machine but their seems to be nothing around if I search facebook within 20k of kidderminster.

Those that do exist seem to be as old or older than mine. I started to look for an I7 but then found out that means nothing in the greater scheme of things as DDR and CPU speeds along with graphics capability come into the equation. I was aware of this but naïvely assumed that an i7 would have a good enough ram and GPU to get me through a few months while I save for a better laptop. I really dont want to buy one and regret it.
I can see what Microsoft has done though as I am not a newbie when it comes to computers but find it hard to keep up with specs etc. As has been mentioned desktops are easier as you can upgrade to a degree but crippling Windows 7 is a no brainer for 99% of users if they need to reinstall windows 7 they dont have a hope in hells chance on their own.

windows and if you want your software included in our new products then remove the older programs from your system

otherwise if you dont remove them you wont get a license so they can be used in windows 10 or 11

its called control and remove other products off the market

this has been ukracers whole issue/ problem in the first place as windows 10 dosnt have all of the driver that ukracer needs to run there program as it says it dosnt exist and wont run the program with an error

no matter what laptop ukracer chosses hes going to have the same issue to deal with

No mate sadly not. I have a few XP machines lying around for the vinyl cutters etc.
I was happy with windows 7 till they killed it . I run windows 10 now and Cura is fine with my desktop. It seems to be purely the switchable graphics card fitted to my HP pavillion thats causing trouble..
It might sound silly but the way they are licencing programs lately is 2 (maybe 3) seats. SO I have two desktops. One at home and one at the caravan plus a use a laptop for the CNC and Laser.and vinyl cutter plus the new CR10 Max 3D printer running off octopi. I am very wary now since I purchased Winto USB from Hasleo and found it wont install on any of my machines as the one it was on had a new driver recently.
Lightburn is another with only 2 seats but non transferable as well.

Depends on how much the i3 would cost and if it will actually run the latest Cura above version 5. lol https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura/

Windows 10 is fine with Cura. Its the HP DV6-3150 that has a switchable graphics card thats stops it running.
