having proplems tig rooting super duplex heavy wall pipe in 6g

hi all, im new to the forum, was just wandering if any of you guys could help me. i'm an experienced tig welder of 10 years now welding all types of material, stainless, nickel, hastalloy ect......

i've been offerd a job to go welding for a company involving the oil and gas sub sea pipes which is super duplex schd 160 pipe,

i had a test yesterday and struggled to get a good root in 6g, i have to go for another test wich will be my final test on tuesday and realy need to nail this one, has anybody on here had any experience with this line of work???? if so i would be more than greatfull for any tips, thanx guys. ste.
