Has this happened to you.W wire drum came off.

There i was yesterday needed to do a little welding job,Put work in clamp did a few small tacks every thing looked good,Then the wire stopped coming out gave wire a pull its gone tight.Removed side panel off the MiG............The Bast..d roll of wire had come lose 30% off wire was every where...

Hi ya Hog Rider. There was a recent thread called something like "things they don't tell you when you start welding" was within the last week or two. If you think it was bad for you read some of them, Pallets of spools being droped ect....doh

Thanks for that i did not see the posts about the weld wire before lol.It was the knurled bolt that holds the small drum on that had come off.I'm now thinking of a way of stopping the knurled bolt from coming off.I have tightened it for now with pipe grips.
