Harrison L5

I’ve got to move my Harrison L5, I’ve not got the manual for it.
Anyone know the recommended way to lift it? Is there a balance point or somewhere for an eye bolt?

If it has the cabinet stand, there should be a through hole to the right of the switchgear where a bar can go right through for lifting..

Look at the stand underneath the chip tray, you will see 2 through holes either side.

Slide some appropriate tubes or bars through there and use them to lift it, do not under any circumstances put any lifting gear around the chuck, you will scrap the machine.

I had no bars so threaded some heavy duty straps through the holes and lifted it like that, I was only lifting the height of a pallet though, I would not recommend doing that to get it onto a trailer.

Put the tailstock and carriage as far right as you can to help balance the lift.
