Hager RDC as per pic keeps tripping when using my welder.
Welder is a 250A machine, no I am not trying to weld at 250A, I would hazard a guess I was welding at 12/0140A area welding 4mm angle iron to 4mm plate, was okay most of the time but just randomly tripping out, even had the wife resetting it for me so I could finish the job.
Last time I used the welder it was to weld a van, so much lower amps needed and no issues with the rdc.
I am hoping I have fitted the wrong type of RDC when I fitted the commando socket a few years back, its main use is to run a compressor, little v twin toy town job.
