Had a nice surprise this week.

A while back I was contacted by the Natural History Museum of Denmark asking if they could use an image of my work in a poster for an exhibition on sculpture and Plankton.
Honoured indeed,of course says I, expecting to be in a photo mosaic.
They sent me this in am email today.



Side by side with Mr Buckminster Fuller himself and Kandinsky.
Cheered me up no end.
Edit, Hmmm it has come out all scrunched up.
Can anybody help unscrunch it?
I managed to resize it ok from the full size.

Oh and well done mate, its not everyday someone gets to be on the same sheet as someone famous

Shame they havn't seen the rest of your work, They'll have to allocate half the Museum to it.

When you get Famous at least we can say we all met you on here

The image bottom right, the round round thing, a Diatom.
Famous? I doubt it. surviving is not too bad going.
In fact surviving and keeping busy is even better.
So far a great year.

Excellent ...it's things like this (a bit of unexpected publicity in an unexpected place) that can lead to something amazing happening

The scale of your piece is a bit ambiguous in that pik ...looks like something to easily rival that (disappointing) ArcelorMittal Orbit that's been grabbing all the attention lately!

The scale? the sculpture is just under a metre in diameter.
One day I will build the mega version with a city inside it. I fancy using it first for an airport terminal then scaling it up. Maybe even in orbit.

As said who knows what might come from this.
Plus I have been associated with old Bucky Himself, a massive honour.

I have just been reading up on the man, I always knew he was a bit of a Chap. but what a chap, planned the future, cities, cars, buildings, language, science. And possibly a bit mad as well.

Kandinsky? a great painter but Bucky? a true polymath.
