Had a bit of a busy day today, have been spraying some gates, and in between waiting for them to dry. I have disapeared off to my steel supplier thats about a mile away, and drilling a load of beams for them. Do about an hour for them then rush back to the workshop turn the gates over and paint the other side. Normally if it wasnt raining would just paint the gates outside and get on with something in the workshop. But the smell is to much to spray and then work in the workshop. So as they were going to pay me for the day, it seemed sensible to just keep coming back and turning the gates over after they had dried.
Interesting enough they have a thermal arc 150se inverter which they use. Prior to this they had a small telwin unit, which burned out. I lent them my ewm pico 140 inverter whilst they got a new welder (the 150se), because i have my fusion 200, i have never got round to getting it back off them. Yesterday because they were real busy they had two welders on the go, my pico and there 150se. They told me that my pico unit knocks spots off there 150se, its a much smoother weld etc. Again proves you get what you pay for as the pico was more expensive than there 150se.
